One of the star activities that forms part of the Open Abadía cycle consists of the Audience in Action Workshop, an initiative introduced last season that featured the participation of some 50 people, who, over two editions throughout the year, gained an inside experience of the "world of the stage" from the very heart of La Abadía.
After having canvassed the opinions of our participants and with a view to continuing with the development of this key initiative, we shall be launching a new edition of this workshop, based on a renewed format and the diverse talents of the guest teachers, not to mention the multiple perspectives from which we can approach the theatrical arts.
It include a total of 12 sessions, ranging from practical classes with the actress, Lidia Otón, to meetings with different professionals from the stage arts, as well as attendance at different events throughout the season.
The Workshop is aimed at people who love the theatre but are not interested in pursuing their passion at a professional level. Participants tend to be people who would like to establish an ongoing and personal link with La Abadía as creative members of the audience and participants in the theatre experience. They are also interested in discovering the different professional profiles that make up the profession.
