An old puppeteer and his two assistants recreate the adventures of the worthy knight Don Quixote of La Mancha, his squire Sancho Panza and the beloved Dulcinea. And in order to relive these adventures, this production makes use of dolls, puppets, glove puppets, objects, shadows and recycled toys.
But … did the famous gentleman of La Mancha go mad from reading so many books? Isn’t reading something fine, something beautiful?
What’s more, during the performance our old puppeteer starts to become a little delirious, losing all notion of what is real and what is not; he can no longer see the difference between people and dolls, between life and the theatre …
We hope that the enchantment of famous characters will also pass to the audience who see this pocket-sized version of the great novel by Don Miguel de Cervantes.
